It's been awhile, hey? Bet you thought I forgot about this place. Bet you thought I gave up.

Ha! Not that easy.

Ya, I got drained out, and a bunch of life happened (including a bouncing baby boy last September) so the whole 'squeeze in a moment for me' thing has been a bit short. But right now Hubby and the kids are downstairs playing PS2, so I'm sneaking.

I need to get back to sneaking. I do want to get these stories done. That's the hard part. Starting is easy, but getting through the middle and all the way to the end is work! Don't believe me? You try writing 50,000 words! The Shadows of Sicily sits at a little more than that and is maybe 2/3 done. Maybe. And now getting to the mess, complicated plot part.

And, yup, it's getting a bit intimidating. But dang it, I have to finish it. If for no other reason than to say 'See, I finished it!'

So, I'm going to try being around a bit more. It'll likely be sporadic, but that's what RSS feeds are for, right?
