There are some new things afoot at Storybook Corner.
You may have noticed the new ad blocks. That's because I've made some ads for The Shadows of Sicily and GURD 2108 and to pay for me putting them up elsewhere, I've put some ads here. The old ad block pays for my hosting - so I don't have to harass you about donations quite so often. 
Also, if you head over to the bookshelf you'll see a new section called Points Poems. This is up because I decided to post the first portion of Jan Oda's requested ballad - 11 verses. It's currently sitting at 33 verses and still not done. So, since I was going to have to post it in parts anyways, I decided to do the first one now. Jan's waited long enough, now she, and you get a little taste.
All users with IDs can earn points toward their very own points poem.

First things first. I really like the poem. Can't wait for the next parts!! I never expected you to take it this serious, but I really feel rewarded.
But because of all your effort, shouldn't you deduct the points? I'm still standing at 62

You are quite right, I should take off those points. But since it's going up in parts, I'll just take off part of the points.
