My Olympics - Day 2

Last night was Day Two of our Olympic experience. We had tickets for women's hockey Prelim - Switzerland vs. Slovakia.

Instead of taking the transit all the way across town, which is a 2 hour trip normally, who knows how long with extra Olympic folks, we drove to my grandmother's and parked there, then took the bus. This was extra awesome as we got to have a visit, and also Hubby got to work for a half day (which is good because he just started a new job and doesn't have days off yet).

So we visited, Cuz took us to the bus, and we headed over. Again, no issues with the line, and Hubby and MiL got some nice close seats. The game was good, close for the first two periods, then Switzerland took off in the final period. Final score 5-2 for Switzerland.

Hockey definitely went over better with the 4 year old. I think she even watched most of the third period.

Today is the Men's Free Program. The iPod is loaded, and even has some movie rentals (from iTunes) on it because it'll be long, and I'd really like to watch at least the top 10 without interruption.

Teaser for this week:
I decided to take it as a compliment, it would help keep me from beating Antonius where he stood.
