What are points?
Points are something you get when you participate in Storybook Corner. The points are to encourage participation and discussion of the story; the more you participate in the site, and the more readers you bring in, the more points you get.

How do I get them?
You must have an account to earn points! It's free and easy!

1 point for posting a comment, or voting on a poll
2 points for posting a forum topic
5 points for fan art posted to the gallery
5 points for a non-permanent link (Tweet, Facebook status, etc.)
5 points for a rating at Web Fiction Guide or Muse's Success
10 points for each successful referral
10 points for a permanent link
20 points for a review at Web Fiction Guide or Muse's Success

You can also purchase points. For every dollar you donate, you get a point--buck a point. Just make sure to put your username in the donation form so I know who to credit.

What are they good for?
Poems! You can buy a poem if you've got enough points.

And now, bonus stories!

First, you must get 10 points, then you can start buying things.

10 points for a haiku or senryu
25 points for a sonnet
50 points for a ballad
50 points for an acrostic

100 points for a bonus story topic/ question

You can choose a topic from one of the stories, or from something else. It's all up to your imagination.
